Saturday April 19, 2008 Valley Christian Centers, Inc. will honor several law enforcement agencies for cleaning up the community with more than 35 arrests in a single day resulting in a 562-count criminal indictment.  Based on over 180 days of  inter-agency investigations,  Operation Sidewinder significantly reduced drug sales and gang violence in the Central City region.   Community schools, churches, leaders and the people will acknowledge this important achievement at the 4^th Annual Valley Christian Center Block Party 2008. 

Immediately prior to the press conference, Valley Christian Centers, Inc. will distribute 400 food boxes and personal care kits to community members in need.

Congressman Ed Pastor, Senator Leah Landrum, Representative Cloves Campbell, Mayor Phil Gordon and Councilman Michael Johnson will be present for this celebration of public safety and community cooperation.
